Norwalk man admits to fatally stabbing cab driver in 2014
STAMFORD — A Norwalk man will be sentenced to serve 30 years behind bars after he admitted to fatally stabbing a Norwalk cab driver in December 2014.
Prosecutors say Arcos-Garcia stabbed Pierre-Louis in the chest and twice in his stomach before fatally slashing him on the right side of his neck.
Arcos-Garcia gave police multiple stories about the murder, the last involving a sexual encounter between the two men.
The Norwalk man was also charged with attempted escape approximately six weeks after his arrest when guards found loose window latches, two prison-made knives and 60 feet of rope fashioned from bed sheets in his jail cell.
