NAACP, state lawmakers weigh in on UHart harassment controversy

HARTFORD --  This incident is gaining a lot of attention and calling into question once again: race relations in our country.

A University of Hartford student said she was forced out of her room following a series of disturbing actions by her roommate in an incident that has been called intimidation based on bigotry or bias, which can be seen as a precursor to a hate crime charge.

State representative and NAACP of greater Hartford representative Brandon McGee Jr., and state senator Doug McCrory speak with FOX61's Lorenzo Hall.
