GREENWICH — Police have made an arrest in a deadly hit-and-run more than a month after the accident.

On April 17, just after 11 p.m., Edward Setterberg, 43, of Cob Cob was struck and killed on East Putnam Avenue at Hillside Road. Police began searching for a Mercedes-Benz SUV that drove off after the crash.

Thursday, May 26, Andrew Schmidt, 17, of Greenwich was arrested in connection to the case. He is charged with evading responsibility following involvement in an accident that results in a fatality. The felony charge carries up to 10 years in prison. Schmidt will be charged in adult court, police said.

Schmidt was released on $100,000 bond and is due in Stamford Superior Court on June 2.
