Manchester Animal Control seeking whoever tied these dogs to a pole and left them

MANCHESTER, Conn. — Manchester Animal Control is seeking information regarding two dogs found tied to the pole of a basketball hoop on a rainy Saturday morning.

The dogs were found at the basketball court on Cottage Street, with leashes tied to a pole.

Officials believe the dogs were abandoned and are trying to figure out who may own them or have left them. It's not clear how long the dogs have been left outside and tied up.

The social media post Manchester Animal Control put out has since gone viral, being shared over 1,000 times in two hours.

Anyone with information is asked to call Manchester Animal Control at 860-645-5516. Adoption inquiries are not being accepted at this time.
