Stop & Shop recalls breaded chicken cutlets for undeclared ingredients

The labels on the affected chicken did not declare milk as an ingredient, Stop & Shop said.

HARTFORD, Conn. — Stop & Shop is recalling multiple varieties of its store-brand chicken cutlets due to some ingredients not being mentioned on the label.

The grocery chain recalled Wednesday its 2LB breaded chicken cutlets, UPC code 999990003659, and its 7 oz Italian breaded chicken cutlets, UPC code 022729900000.

Stop & Shop said the manufacturer made changes to the ingredients and those changes were not included when the scale labels were printed. The labels did not declare milk as an ingredient, Stop & Shop said.
