BRISTOL, Conn. — Two men were arrested for running a prostitution operation out of a local business, according to Bristol police.
Since January, Bristol and state police have been investigating multiple complaints of a suspected prostitution operation happening out of "Aqua After Dark" at 1235 Farmington Ave. The public-facing business was advertised as a spa, according to police.
Police said two of the "co-owners/managers" of the business, Vincent Whiteley, 64, of Meriden, and David Henderson, 63, of Southington, were arrested Wednesday afternoon and were charged with conspiracy to traffic person and conspiracy to promote prostitution.
Henderson is also facing charges for permitting prostitution and trafficking in persons.
Both are being held on a $250,000 bond.
Aqua After Dark is not open for business, police said.
