WINDSOR, Conn. — According to state police, an accident occurred on the exit 40 off-ramp of I-91 in Windsor, around 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
Police say for an unknown reason the driver, 37 year-old Daniel Jeannotte of Enfield, veered to the left, crossed the left shoulder, and entered the grassy area to the left of the off-ramp. Jeannotte then struck a tree and suffered serious life-threatening injuries.
When officers arrived, they said he was pronounced dead on scene.
The vehicle was towed due to the damage.
