TRUMBULL, Conn. — Around 7:20 p.m. Saturday night, the Trumbull police responded to a serious accident involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Church Hill Road and Main Street.
Police say a vehicle struck the pedestrian, then collided with a fire hydrant, and was brought to a halt by a pole.
First responders provided medical aid and transported the pedestrian to a local hospital.
According to police, the identities of those involved are being withheld at this time.
Additionally, any details regarding the cause of the crash and the severity of the injuries are unknown.
The Trumbull Police Department’s Traffic Division are currently investigating.
