2 hospitalized in vehicle rollover in Norwich

Two people were hospitalized after a single-vehicle rollover on North Main Street in Norwich, early Sunday morning.

NORWICH, Conn. — Two people were hospitalized in a vehicle rollover, according to Norwich Firefighters Local 892 on Sunday.

At 1:15 a.m. on Sunday, Norwich Patrol Officer found a vehicle that had rolled over on North Main Street near Boswell Avenue. Emergency services, including Engine 2, Squad A, and Battalion 1, responded to the scene.

According to officials, the car was found on its roof and both people involved had been ejected from the vehicle.

Squad A helped assess the people’s injuries as well as stabilizing the overturned vehicle, until Battalion 1 took over the situation.

American Ambulance took the two people to a nearby hospital.
