Bridgeport pedestrian crash leaves 1 critically injured: Police

The crash reportedly took place in the area of Boston Avenue, police said.

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A pedestrian crash in Bridgeport Sunday night left one person critically injured, according to the city's police department.

At 8:22 p.m., the Bridgeport Emergency Communications Center received a call about the crash, which was reported to have taken place in the 2000 block of Boston Avenue, police said.

An emergency crew brought a man to the hospital with critical injuries, according to police. His current condition is unknown.

Police have not provided any further details about the crash at this time.
