SHELTON, Conn. — A Shelton man was arrested for downloading and having child porn on his computer, which included a photo of a child touching him inappropriately.
State police accused Ross DeLibro, 53, of having several inappropriate images and videos on his electronic devices.
The investigation started in January 2024 when a computer, traced back to an IP address in Shelton, was detected downloading nine child porn videos.
In May, state police and Shelton police searched DeLibro's home and took computers, electronic devices and optical discs as evidence.
Investigators found the nine downloaded videos, as well as dozens of images, including one taken by DeLibro of a child touching his genitals, state police said.
DeLibro was arrested Tuesday and was charged with employ a minor in an obscene performance, promoting a minor in an obscene performance and illegal possession of child pornography.
He was held on a $250,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
This is an ongoing investigation.
