BRISTOL, Conn. — Bristol firefighters responded to a 2-alarm fire at a multifamily home that displaced several people Monday afternoon.
The call came in just before 2 p.m. for a report of a fire on Murray Road.
The fire appeared to have started on the first floor and had spread to the second and third floors.
The water was icing due to the cold weather, which made conditions slippery for firefighters. There were no injuries reported and everyone made it out of the building safely.
The fire is now out, and the cause is under investigation.
Approximately seven people were displaced and the American Red Cross is helping those people.
This is a developing story.
