BRISTOL, Conn. — A youth was arrested Monday after driving a stolen vehicle on sidewalks and through construction zones in Bristol, according to the town's police department.
Police officers were on patrol on Riverside Avenue near Blakeslee Street when the stolen black Jeep Grand Cherokee was seen driving "recklessly," according to police.
Police said the Jeep's driver put "numerous lives at risk" while driving.
Officers used stop sticks - a tire deflation devise - to stop the Jeep, and arrested the youth, police said. Police did not release his age.
