FARMINGTON, Conn. — A person is in critical condition after being flown from the scene of a multi-car crash Friday in Farmington, the town's police department said.
Police said at 5:50 p.m. that officers on Fienemann Road by the Interstate 84 east on-ramp were investigating a three-car crash.
One person was taken to Hartford Hospital by a Life Star helicopter for serious injuries and is currently listed in critical condition, according to police.
Two people were additionally taken to local hospitals for evaluation, police said.
Fienemann Road between Colt Highway along Route 6 and the New Britain town line was closed at 5:50 p.m. as the North Central Regional Accident Reconstruction Squad investigated the crash.
The road was reopened as of 9:26 p.m., according to police.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the collision to contact them at 860-675-2400.
No information on a cause of the crash has been provided at this time.
