EAST HARTFORD, Conn. — The Connecticut Lottery Corporation, or CT Lottery, is searching for the winner of a $100,000 Cash5 ticket that has yet to be claimed.
CT Lottery is urging players to check their tickets, as no one has stepped forward to claim the $100,000 prize.
The winning ticket was sold for the April 25 drawing at Burnside Smoke Shop and Convenience at 487 Burnside Avenue in East Hartford.
The ticket is set to expire on Tuesday, Oct. 22, as all draw game tickets expire 180 calendar days from the draw date.
CT Lottery said the ticket’s winning numbers are 01, 04, 14, 16 and 29.
The overall odds of winning Cash5 are one in 72.1, and the odds of winning Cash5 with Kicker are one in 12.1.
To claim the prize on or before Oct. 22, one can go to any CT Lottery retailer and have their ticket validated or go directly to CT Lottery Headquarters at 15 Sterling Drive in Wallingford. For information about unclaimed draw tickets, one can click here.
In fiscal year 2023, CT Lottery players won more than $1 billion in prize money, while CT Lottery retailers earned approximately $88 million in commissions. All the while, the lottery gave $404 million in support to the services and programs funded by the state’s General Fund including public health, libraries, public safety, education and more. Since the inception of the lottery in Connecticut in 1972, it has contributed more than $11 billion to the General Fund.
