EAST HARTFORD, Conn — A suspect in an East Hartford shooting from January has been arrested, police said.
Terrance Brown was found in Hamden on Wednesday and taken into custody. Brown was charged with attempted murder, first-degree assault, criminal possession of a firearm, and reckless endangerment in connection with the shooting that happened on January 11.
According to East Hartford police, officers were called to Nutmeg Lane on a report of shots fired around 1 a.m. Once there, officers found a man who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Police also located several bullet castings, a handgun, and a rifle at the scene. The victim was treated at the scene and then taken to the hospital, according to police.
Brown's vehicle was identified by New Haven and Hamden officers on Wednesday, and once he was found, officers also located a stolen gun and extended capacity magazine.
He is currently being held in New Haven and is awaiting arraignment. He is being held on a $1 million bond.
