SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. — A former Glastonbury police officer, who is already charged in multiple burglaries across the state, is accused of another one in South Windsor.
Patrick Hemingway, 37, was arrested Friday on an active arrest warrant for allegedly burglarizing the Mill on the River Restaurant on April 24, 2023.
According to South Windsor police, Hemingway allegedly broke into the building on Ellington Road, damaging an exterior door and a safe door. It was not immediately clear what Hemingway stole from the restaurant.
Hemingway has been in police custody since his arrest in November 2023 after it was discovered he was connected to more than 30 burglaries across Connecticut and neighboring states.
The former Glastonbury police officer, who was also previously employed at the New Britain Police Department, was previously charged with burglaries in Wethersfield, Old Saybrook, East Hampton, Shelton and Stratford.
