GLASTONBURY, Conn. — Glastonbury police are investigating an attempted gunpoint robbery from Saturday in a Stop & Shop parking lot.
Police sat that at 11:50 a.m. Saturday, officers went to the Stop & Shop at 215 Glastonbury Boulevard after they received a report about the attempted robbery.
Investigators learned that multiple suspects in a stolen car arrived at the grocery store and attempted to rob a woman at gunpoint as she was entering her car, police said.
The woman fled the vehicle and was uninjured, according to police. Nothing was stolen during the incident.
Police said the attempted robbery appears to be part of a series of similar robberies across Connecticut.
