Bomb threat at Trinity College Library found non-credible, Hartford police say

Police said that a phone call threat led to an evacuation at the library Monday evening.

HARTFORD, Conn. — A bomb threat that prompted an evacuation at the Trinity College Library was determined to be non-credible, according to Hartford police Monday.

Police said that a phone call about a bomb led to an evacuation at the library Monday evening. It is currently unclear how many people were evacuated.

Investigators later found that the threat was false, according to police.

Trinity College did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
