MANCHESTER, Conn. — Hooters Restaurant is closing its Manchester location, according to a Facebook post Monday.
The restaurant announced in the post that it made "the difficult decision" to close the Pleasant Valley Road, Manchester location after "nearly two decades" in business.
There was no reason listed for the closing in the post. A listing on Google Monday shows the restaurant as "permanently closed."
"After nearly two decades of hot wings, cold beer and great memories Hooters of Manchester has made the difficult decision to close its doors," the post included. "Thank you for the many years of patronage and loyalty."
The closest remaining Hooters locations that remain open are in Wethersfield on the Berlin Turnpike and West Springfield, Mass. According to sister-station News Center Maine, there are 41 locations across the U.S. that were listed in mid-January that are no longer listed.
