WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — A car crashed into a University of Hartford (UHart) residence on Friday night, displacing several students.
Hartford firefighters were called to the campus around 8:30 p.m. and found a car had crashed into a three-story apartment building.
No injuries were reported, and the students inside were evacuated and displaced, firefighters said.
A spokesperson for UHart said that the crash was an "unfortunate accident," and that there were no arrests made.
The students who lived in the apartment have been moved until an engineer can assess the damage, the spokesperson said.
