West Hartford motorcycle crash under investigation

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — A motorcyclist is recovering from injuries after a crash with a vehicle in West Hartford on Wednesday evening, according to police.

West Hartford police and fire crews responded to the crash scene on the 900 block of New Britain Avenue around 8:30 p.m.

The adult motorcycle operator was injured and was taken to an area hospital, police said. Their conditions are not known at this time.

It is not clear if the vehicle involved stayed on the scene.

New Britain Ave. between Meriline Ave. and Hollywood Ave. was closed for several hours as investigators processed the scene, and the area has since reopened to traffic.
