WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — West Hartford police have released photos of a person of interest in a case of vandalism following a protest last month.
The building at 65 LaSalle Road in West Hartford Center had red paint thrown on it and handprints over the sign after a rally at Town Hall regarding the Israel-Hamas war.
After a rally was held, a group of protesters walked through the area and posted signs on the building. Later, it was discovered that unidentified group members vandalized the exterior of the building with red paint.
Photos from inside the building show the group outside, and one person appearing to make a handprint on the glass door.
In a press release, police said, "As part of this active and ongoing investigation, the West Hartford Police Department is releasing images depicting a person of interest. We are seeking the public’s help in identifying the below pictured individual."
