CROMWELL, Conn. — A Wethersfield man is accused of electronically stalking a victim, according to the Cromwell Police Department.
Lorenc Cenko, 48, was arrested on Friday and charged with electronic stalking and criminal violation of a protective order, police said.
On May 19, Cromwell police began an investigation after a victim came forward and reported finding a GPS tracking device inside their vehicle, according to police. Cromwell police said they were able to determine that the device was planted by an individual who knew the victim, and Cenko was identified and apprehended.
According to police, Cenko posted a $25,000 bond and will appear at Middletown Superior Court on July 15.
