WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. — One man is under arrest and another was left with multiple knife wounds after an assault Sunday evening in Windsor Locks, the town's police department said.
Bryum Henriquez, 30, is facing charges of assault in the second and third degree, reckless endangerment in the first degree, possession of a dangerous weapon, threatening, and disorderly conduct, according to police.
Police said that around 7:48 p.m., officers arrived at a residence on Elm Street after receiving an anonymous call about a person stabbed and found Henriquez being held down by people inside the home.
The victim, a 29-year-old man, had stab wounds on his head, neck, shoulder, chest, and abdomen and was "bleeding profusely," police said, noting that he was "conscious and coherent" when the officers were present.
The man was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Henriquez was held on a $100,000 bond until he appears in court on Tuesday.
There is no threat to the public and the stabbing appears to have been an isolated incident. Police said the location is where various investigations have previously taken place.
