WOODBURY, Conn. — A pedestrian was left with serious injuries Wednesday after being pinned between two vehicles in Woodbury, according to Connecticut State Police.
Based on preliminary information, state police said they determined that at 12:23 p.m., a Jeep Wrangler Sport was traveling south on Bethlehem Road (Rt. 132) when, for an unknown reason, it hit a person working at the rear bed portion of a parked Volvo VHD.
The Jeep collided with the Volvo VHD, pinning the person between the vehicles, state police said. The person was removed and taken to Waterbury Hospital by Woodbury EMS for serious injuries.
The driver of the Jeep was also taken to the hospital for minor injuries, according to state police.
