Branford police arrested Terrell Meynard, 42, of Stamford after multiple robbery and sexual assault incidents involving the use of a knife.
Police said they found the victim recovering at a local hospital from serious injuries.

BRANFORD, Conn. — Branford police said they arrested a Stamford man Thursday who is facing robbery and sexual assault charges in multiple incidents at a spa.

On Sept. 21 at 8:40 p.m., police said they went to Healthy Spa on 144 North Main St. for a robbery at knife point. A victim reported to police that a suspect "pulled a knife on them, physically assaulted and sexually assaulted one of the victims, and demanded money."

One of the victims told investigators that the same suspect entered the business on Aug. 26 while she was working alone at the spa, "held her at knife point, physically and sexually assaulted her and demanded money."

The investigations for both incidents led police to arrest Terrell Meynard, 42, of Stamford at New Haven Court.
