NAUGATUCK, Conn. — Two kittens were found dead after reportedly being thrown from a car in Naugatuck Monday, the town's police department said.
At 9:45 a.m. Monday, officers received reports about the kittens that were thrown from a car headed south in the area of North Church Street and Route 63 along the dam.
Police said they found two kittens, aged about four to five months old, dead on the road.
Witnesses told officers that an "older white female with white hair" was driving a maroon sedan which the kittens were thrown from the driver's side door, police said.
Police said they are looking for a black car in between the maroon car and a witness' car that swerved to avoid the kittens to get more information on what they saw during the incident.
