Fatal shooting investigation underway in New Haven

A 21-year-old man was killed in the shooting.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — New Haven police are investigating a fatal shooting Wednesday.

At 12:07 p.m., police said they were called to the area of Ferry Street and Wolcott Street for a shooting that left a 21-year-old New Haven man injured.

Several hours later, police announced that he had died. 

Police have not released any further details at this time.
