2 critically injured, 1 with minor injury after North Haven crash involving motorcycle: Police

The intersection of Washington Avenue and Bradley Street was reopened after an on-scene investigation, police said.

NORTH HAVEN, Conn. — A North Haven crash involving a motorcycle and a car left two people critically injured and one with a minor injury, according to the town's police department Sunday night.

Police said in a Facebook post at 4:30 p.m. Sunday that the intersection of Washington Avenue and Bradley Street was closed during the investigation into the crash. 

In an update at 8:11 p.m., police said that the intersection was reopened after an on-scene investigation with the South Central Connecticut Traffic Unit.

Police said emergency crews brought the male motorcycle operator and female passenger to a local hospital for critical injuries, and the driver of the car for evaluation of minor injuries.

The cause of and events leading up to the crash are currently unknown.
