GUILFORD, Conn. — A Wallingford man is accused of stalking and spying on a former dating partner and violating that victim's restraining order.
Barna Lengyel, 53, who also goes by Bruno Banani, was arrested Monday in Guilford, after being arrested Friday on child pornography charges.
Lengyel is accused of placing a camera in the victim's bedroom and having intimate photographs of them without their knowledge, Guilford police said. Lengyel was in a relationship with the victim in exchange of helping the victim's family financially, police said.
The victim obtained a full restraining order against Lengyel, but he allegedly tried to make contact with the victim by dropping things off at their home.
Lengyel is now facing violation of a restraining order, voyeurism, eavesdropping, stalking and risk of injury to a minor charges. He was held on a $250,000 bond, in addition to a $500,000 bond for the child pornography arrest from Friday.
Evidence for both arrests was found after searches in his Wallingford home and at the Guilford restaurant where the victim worked, police said.
