WATERBURY, Conn. — A Waterbury teen has been arrested in connection to the shooting death of another local teen earlier this month, according to police.
Yeanier Osorio-Medina, 18, was arrested Friday for charges related to the shooting death of Lashawn Nance, 19.
Police responded to Wood Street on May 6 for a report of a shooting. Responding officers found Nance with a gunshot wound. He was taken to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Osorio-Medina faces murder and firearm charges. He is being held on a $3 million bond and is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
Police continue to investigate the fatal shooting and expect to make more arrests.
