WATERFORD, Conn — Officers are looking for a suspect in a hit-and-run involving a youth on a bike in Waterford Tuesday morning, the town's police department said.
Police said they are investigating after a car evaded the scene of a collision with a youth on a bike at 7:23 a.m. in front of the Sam's Mart on the corner of Boston Post Road and Clark Lane.
There is no word on the youth's condition at this time.
The car that was involved, a light color 1990's Honda Accord, was captured on camera. Waterford police posted photos of both the Accord and the suspect in the below Facebook post.
Anyone with information regarding the collision or the suspect and car is asked to call Officer Winter #44 at 860-442-9451 ext. 2281, or email rwinters@waterfordct.org. People can also send a message via the Waterford Police Department Facebook page.
