Fire departments from surrounding towns respond to Putnam house fire

No injuries were reported.

PUTNAM, Conn. — Multiple fire departments responded to a house fire in East Putnam on Wednesday evening, according to a report from WINY Radio.

Firefighters were called to a home on the 200 block of Elmwood Hill Road. Crews tried to get a water supply at Pulaski State Park, and then switched to Quaddick, WINY reported.

No injuries were reported.

Firefighters from Putnam, Thompson, East Killingly, Attawaugan, Quinebaug, East Thompson and Chepachet responded to the fire.

The road in the area was closed while crews responded.
