'Untimely death' investigation underway in Killingly: State police

KILLINGLY, Conn. — An "untimely death" investigation is underway in Killingly after a body was found Saturday, according to Connecticut State Police Sunday.

State police said that troopers from Troop D in Danielson arrived at Knox Avenue at 2:11 p.m. on Saturday after they received a report about a body found in the area.

EMS arrived to the scene and pronounced the individual as deceased, state police said.

The Chief Medical Examiner is working to determine the individual's cause of death.
