HARTFORD, Conn. — A Powerball ticket sold in Connecticut won $50,000 in Monday night's drawing, according to CT Lottery.
The numbers to match are 18-30-31-52-63 and the Powerball 22, with Power Play that doubles the prizes.
One ticket matched four numbers and the Powerball, winning $50,000. Had the player opted for Power Play, the prize would have doubled to $100,000.
Three of the winning tickets matched just four numbers, winning $100.
A total of 5,646 winning Powerball tickets were sold in Connecticut for Monday's drawing.
No one in the nation won the $319 million jackpot, but someone in Illinois won $2 million for matching five numbers and playing with Power Play.
The next drawing is on Wednesday, Oct. 9, and the jackpot will rise to an estimated $336 million.
