HARTFORD, Conn. — The Hartford Yard Goats Baseball Club announced a fan-friendly parking and commuter plan on Monday that includes $5 parking at six select lots and garages and 100 bike racks at the ballpark, a team release said.
The Yard Goats, the Double-A minor league affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, play their first home game of the season in Hartford at Dunkin’ Park on Tuesday, April 9 against the Bowie Baysox, the Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles.
For $5 at each game, fans will be able to park within a block of the ballpark on Main Street through the team’s partnerships with LAZ Parking, Hartford Parking Authority, and Propark.
Fans can also commute to the game using CTfastrak and Transit Services from throughout the greater Hartford area to within two blocks of Dunkin’ Park, the team said, adding that free parking is available at CTfastrak stations in New Britain, Newington, West Hartford, and Hartford Line/Union Station.
“We’re pleased to be able to offer fans $5 parking once again this season, thanks to our great partners at LAZ Parking, Hartford Parking Authority and Propark,” Yard Goats General Manager Mike Abramson said. “We encourage fans to enter the parking lot’s address to their GPS to help expedite their arrival.”

At home games, the team said fans are invited to park at any of the following $5 lots and garages: 300 Market St., Saints Lot (285 Church St.), 1000 Main St., 275 Windsor St., MAT Garage (55 Chapel St. South) and Church Street Garage (200 Church St.).
The Yard Goats report that all six lots are easily accessible from two major highways, Interstate 84 and Interstate 91. Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to pre-pay for parking through the Yard Goats’ website, https://www.milb.com/hartford, and via the LAZgo app.
