WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. — The Connecticut Airport Authority announced on Monday that Bradley International Airport has launched a new concierge service for passengers.
Made possible through a partnership with Travelers Aid International, the new concierge service is meant to bring added convenience to all passengers traveling through the Windsor Locks airport.
A release from the CAA, which was established 13 years ago to develop, improve and operate Bradley International Airport and the state’s five general aviation airports, said the cost of the service begins at $79.99.
After launching on July 1, the service is available for booking and is “geared toward departing and arriving passengers who are traveling for either business or leisure,” according to the release.
When a passenger books the service, a concierge team member will meet and greet them upon their arrival at the airport.

The concierge team member will assist in checking in at the airline ticket counter, going through the TSA security checkpoint via priority access, accompanying the passenger(s) directly to their gate, delivering food directly to the gate through BDL Market, retrieving checked bags and assisting to and from parking, pick up or car rental, the release said.
According to the CAA, the service is ideal for older adults who may be traveling alone and need assistance, families with children, first-time filers, anyone with special travel needs and individuals who are looking for an elevated or personalized travel experience.
In the release, Kevin Dillon, executive director of the CAA, said the concierge program at the airport offers travelers another layer of convenience.
“The program is designed to make traveling through the airport truly easy, by offering personalized assistance and removing some of the unknowns that passengers may have about flying,” Dillon said, in the release.
Bradley International Airport is New England’s second-largest airport and contributes nearly $3.6 billion to the regional economy.
The CAA endeavors to make Connecticut’s airports more attractive to new airlines, bring in new routes and support the state’s overall economic development and growth strategy.
