WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. — As people all over the country celebrated National Dog Day on Monday, Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks joined in on the fun.
According to the Connecticut Airport Authority, several four-legged members of the Bradley Buddies therapy team visited the airport, walked throughout the terminal and mingled with travelers.
Before boarding their flights and traveling to their destinations, passengers could interact with the friendly group of dogs. In addition to petting the animals, some travelers took photos with them, marking a great memory made in Connecticut.
The CAA notes that some of the breeds on-hand Monday included a German shepherd, an Australian shepherd, a border collie, a goldendoodle, a golden retriever and a Yorkshire terrier.
