Shooting on Blue Hills Avenue: two hospitalized

Early this morning, Hartford police responded to a double shooting on Blue Hills Avenue that left two young men injured, one in critical condition.

HARTFORD, Conn. — On Saturday morning, the Hartford Police Department responded to a double shooting on Blue Hills Avenue.

According to police, when they arrived around 4:30 a.m.  they discovered a man in his twenties, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he remains in critical condition.

Another man, also in his twenties, was taken to a nearby hospital and is now being treated, police say.

The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions are currently investigating the situation.
