ROCKY HILL, Conn. — A Prospect man died after a rollover crash on Interstate 91 in Rocky Hill Friday night, according to Connecticut State Police.
Based on preliminary information, state police said the crash happened at 11:15 p.m. Friday on I-91 north near exit 23.
Investigators learned that a Cadillac CTS was traveling north along the highway in the left center lane of four, when for an unknown reason, it veered to the left and entered the grass median, state police said.
The Cadillac allegedly continued up the embankment and rolled over before coming to a stop in the brush of the left shoulder embankment.
A man, identified as Davian Pallotto, 22, of Prospect, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to state police.
State police are asking any witnesses or people with dashcam video to contact Trooper DeMaio #346, at Troop H, at 860-534-1098 or email via kaitlyn.demaio@ct.gov.
Emergency crews closed the northbound lanes after the crash, which have since reopened.
