Man shot while in car in Hartford, leading to crash on I-91: Police

A non-fatal shooting happened on Windsor Street at Boce Barlow Way in Hartford early Sunday morning.

HARTFORD, Conn. — A man was shot while in his car in Hartford early Sunday, leading to a crash on Interstate 91.

Hartford police responded to a gunshot victim that arrived at Hartford Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries around 1:50 a.m. Sunday.

According to police, a man in his 30s was shot in his vehicle by Windsor Street at Boce Barlow Way. Shortly after, the victim crashed his car on I-91.

The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions is currently investigating the situation. 

A second, separate non-fatal shooting on Addison Street in Hartford was reported shortly after at 2 a.m., leaving two men with non-life-threatening injuries.
