Pedestrian killed in Norwalk: Police say

According to Norwalk police, a women died after being hit by a car Friday morning.

NORWALK, Conn. — A car crash left a pedestrian dead in Norwalk on Friday morning, according to police.

On June 21, around 9:20 a.m. the Norwalk dispatch received a call about a car accident on 81 Riverside Ave. Norwalk Police, Fire, and Hospital Emergency Medical Service were immediately dispatched to the scene.

59-year-old Kathleen Quigley-Cutting received medical attention from the Norwalk Patrol Officers and Firefighters when they arrived on scene. Quigley-Cutting was taken to the Norwalk Hospital where she would die from her injuries, police said.

This accident remains under investigation by The Norwalk Police Department Crime Scene Unit and Crash Reconstruction Investigators.
