BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Two pedestrians were seriously hurt in a hit-and-run in Bridgeport on Aug. 10, according to the city's police department Wednesday.
At 2 a.m. on Aug. 10, a car that was likely a white Infiniti G35 hit two people near the intersection of Commerce Drive and the Interstate 95 on-ramp, police said.
The driver, an unidentified man, took off from the scene and was last spotted traveling east on Commerce Drive, police said.
The two people who were hit had serious injuries as a result of the crash. Their current condition is unknown.
A potential suspect and suspect vehicle were identified by the Bridgeport Police Fusion Center, along with the Regional Task Force, police said. The investigation is being led by Officer Andrew Orum.
The Bridgeport Police Traffic Division is asking anyone with information about the driver of the vehicle to contact Orum at 203-576-7632 or the Bridgeport Police Tips Hotline at 203-576-TIPS (7477).
