TRUMBULL, Conn. — A motorcyclist was killed after his bike collided with a car on Route 25 in Trumbull on Wednesday evening, according to Connecticut state police.
State police responded to Route 25 South near Exit 6 in Trumbull around 10:20 p.m.
A Suzuki GSX-R1000 and a Honda Accord were traveling in the left lane when the Honda collided with the back of the motorcycle, a preliminary investigation revealed.
The motorcycle operator, identified by state police as Abraham Martinez, 43, of Naugatuck, was taken to an area hospital, where he later died, state police said.
Connecticut Dept. of Transportation, the Trumbull Fire Department and Trumbull Police Department also responded to the scene, state police said.
