BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A man was arrested Friday after a 2023 armed robbery of $100,000 of mostly gold jewelry at a Bridgeport store, the city's police department said.
32-year-old Adam Buster was arrested by Bridgeport Regional Task Force Officers at his place of work in Shelton for his involvement in the incident.
Police said they began investigating the robbery on June 10, 2023 when three suspects armed with guns, wearing masks and gloves, went into the ABC Jewelry store and forced three employees into the backroom.
The employees were pistol-whipped and had personal items stolen from them, according to police. One employee reported a broken rib, while another sustained a head injury.
The suspects, including Buster, then smashed display cases and took merchandise off the walls, stealing merchandise collectively worth $100,000, police said.
Police later recovered the car that the suspects left the scene in.
Buster was charged with robbery in the first degree, assault in the second degree, and larceny in the first degree and had a bond set at $750,000.

According to police, Buster and other suspects have been arrested for "numerous other violent crimes in the city."
