BURLINGTON, Conn. — A single-vehicle crash in the town of Burlington Friday morning claimed the life of a 28-year-old resident, according to a release from Connecticut State Police.
Guage Reichler, of Burlington, was reportedly driving southbound along Stafford Road in his 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer around 8:58 on Friday when he lost control of the vehicle.
According to state police, the Trailblazer veered off the roadway to the right and collided with a rock wall. It then rolled over before coming to an uncontrolled rest.
Reichler was pronounced dead at the scene by a Burlington paramedic, state police say.
The state police’s Collision Analysis Reconstruction Squad responded to the crash site to investigate. The case currently remains open pending further investigation.
Any witnesses to the crash, or anyone who has information related to it, is asked to contact Trooper Julia Gettings $1262 at Julia.Gettings@CT.gov.
