Glastonbury police looking for 2 people who they say took off from traffic stop, almost hit officer

Police said the two were in a white 2013 Hyundai Elantra with a fake CT temporary marker when they took off from a traffic stop near the Cotton Hollow Preserve.

GLASTONBURY, Conn. — The Glastonbury Police Department is looking for the public's help in finding two people who took off from a traffic stop and almost hit an officer on Sunday, according to a Facebook post Tuesday.

Police said that on July 14, two people were traveling in a white 2013 Hyundai Elantra with a fake Connecticut temporary marker 92F4343 when they took off from a traffic stop in the area of the Cotton Hollow Preserve.

An officer was nearly struck as the car took off, police said.

Anyone who recognizes the below individuals is asked by police to call the Glastonbury Police Department at 860-633-8301.
