Hartford Bonanza is the capital city's Independence Day celebration

Special coverage of the event is airing on FOX61+ and CW20 from 8-10 p.m., including the fireworks show at 9:45 p.m.

HARTFORD, Conn. — Hartford's Bushnell Park is a hub for summer, with concerts and events happening throughout the warm season. One of those big events will be the second Hartford Bonanza.

When and where is Hartford Bonanza?

Hartford Bonanza has been moved to Sunday, July 7 from 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. at Bushnell Park. due to weather concerns on Saturday.

What is Hartford Bonanza?

Hartford Bonanza is Hartford's free Independence Day celebration, which features local entertainment, art, culture, food and fireworks.

What will the weather be like?

Hartford Bonanza was postponed from Saturday to Sunday due to the chances of rain and thunderstorms Saturday evening.

Sunday will be more dry, but it will be hot. Temperatures will be in the low 90s by the time Bonanza starts. It will also be humid. Lows will be in the 70s.

How do I get to Hartford Bonanza?

Street parking in Hartford is free on weekends.

What's there to do at Hartford Bonanza?

Expect many food trucks and vendors, including Tacos Los Mexicanos LLC, Kona Ice of Manchester and Foodtrap. There will also be two beer gardens.

There will also be local musicians and DJs performing: Eric Otero, DJ Sonia Sol, Natasha Ramos and The Casuals, and Nelson Bello & Friends featuring Simone Mone and The Score.

Fireworks will go off at 9:45 p.m. to wrap up the night.

The Bushnell Park Carousel will be open that day from noon to 8 p.m.

Connecticut's News Station will broadcast from Hartford Bonanza on CW20 and FOX61+ from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. We will be streaming the fireworks show, starting at 9:45 p.m., in its entirety.
