Woman stabbed on Albany Ave. during carjacking: Hartford police

Arriving officers found a woman in her 30s suffering from multiple stab wounds.

HARTFORD, Conn. — A woman is recovering after being stabbed in Hartford early Saturday morning, according to Hartford police.

Officers were called to the 600 block of Albany Ave. around 6:15 a.m. for a report of a "stabbing as a result of a carjacking."

Arriving officers found a woman in her 30s suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was alert and conscious on the scene and was taken to an area hospital to be treated, police said.

There are no suspects at this time, police said.

The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions will continue the investigation.
